November 20, 2007 - You already know about GoodSearch, the internet search engine that donates money to worthy causes like CAF every time you use it, right? (If you don't, see the box at right!) Well, while you’re at Goodsearch, use its affiliated feature, GoodShop, to raise additional money for CAF. On the www.goodsearch.com page, you’ll see a little box that says “Who do you Goodshop for?” Click on that box, and you can see buttons taking you to hundreds of online stores, from Barnes & Noble and Best Buy to iTunes and Travelocity. If you click through to one of theses stores (and if you have already chosen CAF as your charity with Goodsearch), a portion of the money you spend will go to CAF. It’s no cost to you – and it can add up for CAF, especially during the holidays. (This only works when you click through to the site you want to visit from Goodshop – so if you leave the store site, you’ll need to click through again for CAF to receive a donation when you buy.) So remember, any time you’re going to shop online, go to Goodshop, see if the store you want to visit is listed with them, and click through before you start your shopping.
