Make your money go further with iGive. Using this service, you can shop for all the things you need and raise money for CAF at the same time.

by Craig Butler

December 12, 2007 - In the holiday spirit of giving, CAF is giving you another option on how you can help CAF while doing your holiday (or any old day) shopping – iGive.com.

You already know about GoodShop (click here if you don’t); iGive is another way that you can shop to your heart’s content and help CAF at the same time – and all without costing you anything.

It’s easy. Just register with iGive, and let them know that you want your donations to go to the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation. Then shop the stores through the iGive Mall, and CAF will receive a percentage of the money you spend at the participating stores (over 650 at latest count – including Best Buy, Staples, Overtsock.com, iTunes, Sharper Image, Home Depot, Harry & David, Omaha Steaks and many more).

iGive.com also gives you the option of downloading the iGive Shopping Window. If you use the Shopping Window, you don’t have to click through to your store in order for CAF to receive a donation based on your purchases – just go directly to the website, and the window will pop up to let you know that anything you purchase on that site will result in a donation.

Whether looking for a Christmas fruit basket for a loved one or a sharp new outfit for yourself, use iGive and your shopping skills will support the fight against thalassemia!
