CAF applauds the members of these fraternal organizations for their much-appreciated support.

by Craig Butler

April 2, 2008- As it has done for several years, CAF will attend this year’s annual New Jersey State Elks Association Convention, in order to meet more brothers and sisters of the Association and to spread awareness of thalassemia among its members.

This year, CAF will also attend the annual meeting of the New Jersey Masons, to put faces to some other people whose good works benefit the fight against thalassemia and to spread more information among this community as well.

The New Jersey Elks have been providing financial support to CAF for several years, and this year made CAF one of the beneficiaries of its inaugural “Miracle Plunge.” And the New Jersey Masons have made increasing donations to the state’s blood supply a major priority and are making enormous strides in that direction.

CAF is sincerely grateful to both of these august organizations for their good works on behalf of all those with thalassemia and applauds them for truly demonstrating community involvement in a very meaningful way.
