January 27, 2010 - Videos of two presentations from the 9th Cooley's Anemia Symposium are now available for viewing. The subjects are pulmonary hypertension and clinical trials.
Presented in October, 2009 by CAF and the New York Academy of Sciences, the 9th Cooley's Anemia Symposium was an exciting event that gathered together doctors, scientists, nurses, students, patients and others interested in thalassemia. Over a 4 day period, an abundance of information was presented on the current state of thalassemia care and the search for a cure, and future directions in the same. In addition, the 2009 TAG Patient/Family Conference was held in conjunction with the Symposium, providing an even wider breadth of information and participation from the thalassemia community.
In two other videos, Janet Kwiatkowski, MD, MSCE of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia speaks about "Ongoing and Upcoming Clinical Trials," presented as part of the TAG Conference.
